# Google Calendar sync

**Short answer:** Connect your Google account once and Lemon writes bookings and cleaning jobs into your own Google Calendar as events, with the cleaner and status in the description. It is a view for you and your team, not a booking source — Lemon reads bookings from your OTA feeds or PMS, never from Google.

## Setting it up

Settings → Calendar → Connect Google Calendar. Lemon uses OAuth and stores a refresh token; you can disconnect at any time from the same place.

## What appears in Google

- A booking event per confirmed stay, with the property and platform.
- A cleaning job event at the scheduled date and time, updated as the job moves through offered, assigned, in progress and completed, with the cleaner's name.
- Changes made in Lemon (a late checkout, a reschedule, a cancellation) update or remove the Google event (`googleCalendarEventId` on the job).

## What it is for

Hosts who live in Google Calendar, teams who share one calendar on a wall screen, and owners who want to see their properties' turnovers alongside everything else. Editing an event in Google does not change Lemon; Lemon is the source for cleaning, your OTA or PMS is the source for bookings.
