**Short answer:** Per property, you enable mid-stay cleaning with an interval (for example every 7 nights) and a mode — automatic jobs, or suggested dates the host confirms. Lemon creates the mid-stay jobs inside the stay, offers them to cleaners like any other job, and lets the host snooze a suggestion with "Remind me". Long stays never auto-confirm past 90 nights.

## Settings per property

- `midStayCleaningEnabled` — on or off.
- `midStayCleaningInterval` — nights between cleans.
- `midStayCleaningMode` — create jobs automatically, or only suggest dates.
- `midStaySuggestDates` — whether to show suggestions on the dashboard for stays that qualify.

## What happens during a long stay

When a confirmed booking is longer than the interval, Lemon computes the mid-stay dates from the check-in. In automatic mode each date becomes a `mid_stay` job at the property's usual time and goes through the normal cascade. In suggestion mode the dashboard shows the dates with "Create" and "Remind me"; "Remind me" snoozes the suggestion rather than dismissing it, so a host who is waiting to confirm with the guest is nudged again later.

Mid-stay jobs carry the job type in the cleaner's message ("Type: Mid-stay cleaning"), so the cleaner knows the guest is in residence and the scope is lighter.

## Long stays and the calendar rules

Long bookings intersect with two calendar rules worth knowing. A guest-nameless block longer than 30 nights on Booking.com is treated as an owner closure and skipped, because Booking.com's export cannot distinguish a long stay from you closing the property. A named stay longer than 90 nights is held for review rather than auto-confirmed. If you take genuine monthly stays on Booking.com, confirm them once on the dashboard, or connect a PMS so the reservation arrives as a fact.

## Numbers

Mid-stay jobs are a small fraction of production volume — 6 of 533 jobs — which matches the average stay length of 4.8 nights (median 4) on Lemon's estate.
