Setting it up

1. In Airbnb: Calendar → Availability settings → Connect calendars → Export calendar. Copy the .ics link.
2. In Lemon: Properties → the property → add iCal feed → paste. Lemon detects the platform from the link.
3. The first sync runs immediately; then every 5 minutes.

What Airbnb's calendar tells Lemon

Airbnb's calendar is the easier one to read. Guest stays and the dates you block yourself are labelled differently. So Lemon creates a cleaning job for each guest stay, and nothing for your own blocks: no job, no message to your cleaner. Guest names are not included.

What still goes wrong, and what Lemon does

• Calendars imported from another platform. If your Airbnb calendar imports Booking.com's, the Booking.com stays reach Lemon through Airbnb with Airbnb's delay on top. Connect Booking.com's own link to the same property instead; Lemon de-duplicates stays that appear on both calendars with the same dates.
• Dates that keep switching. When two platforms import each other's calendars, a checkout can flip between two dates from one check to the next. Lemon keeps the job steady for 48 hours instead of moving it back and forth.
• Cancellations. A cancelled Airbnb stay simply stops appearing. Lemon flags it, waits before acting, and never cancels inside 24 hours of checkout on calendar evidence alone.

Also useful

Lemon gives you its own calendar link for each feed, so you can import Lemon's view back into a personal calendar. Google Calendar sync is separate and puts bookings and cleaning jobs in your own Google calendar.

Technical details

• Guest stays arrive with a Reserved summary and a reservation link in the description; host blocks arrive as Airbnb (Not available). Lemon files the first as confirmed (job created) and the second as blocked.
• The first sync is rate-limited to protect the feed.
• Flip-flopping checkout dates are caught by Lemon's oscillation guard, which holds the job for 48 hours. A vanished stay is held for the confirmation window before any cancellation.
• Lemon's own calendar export uses a per-feed export token.
