Setting it up
- In Vrbo: Calendar → Import/Export → Export calendar. Copy the
.icslink. - In Lemon: Properties → the property → add iCal feed → paste.
- First sync immediately, then every 5 minutes.
How Vrbo bookings are handled
Vrbo labels guest bookings and blocks more clearly than Booking.com does. Lemon reads the label: a guest stay gets a checkout cleaning job, a block gets nothing. The same safety rules apply as for every calendar. A booking that disappears is flagged and held before any cancellation. A job close to checkout is protected. A calendar that suddenly loses many bookings at once is not trusted. And dates that keep switching do not move the job back and forth.
If you list on Vrbo and Airbnb
Connect both platforms' own calendar links to the same property in Lemon rather than importing one into the other. Lemon de-duplicates a stay that appears on both with identical dates and creates one job. Cross-imports between platforms add delay and are the usual cause of dates that keep switching.
Technical details
Lemon reads each iCal event's summary to decide between a guest stay and a block. All of the general guards apply: the confirmation windows, the imminent-window protection, the bulk-disappearance guard and oscillation detection. They are written against what any iCal feed can do, not against one platform.
