Vrbo calendar sync (iCal)

Short answer

Paste the Vrbo listing's iCal export link into the property in Lemon. Vrbo (and its HomeAway-era links) is detected from the URL and handled like any other iCal feed: read every 5 minutes, checkouts become cleaning jobs, disappearances are flagged and held before any cancellation. Vrbo is rare in Lemon's Cyprus estate but fully supported.

Setting it up

  1. In Vrbo: Calendar → Import/Export → Export calendar. Copy the .ics link.
  2. In Lemon: Properties → the property → add iCal feed → paste.
  3. First sync immediately, then every 5 minutes.

How Vrbo events are handled

Vrbo's export labels reservations and blocks more clearly than Booking.com's, and Lemon reads the summary to decide between a guest stay (checkout job created) and a block (no job). All of the general guards apply — the confirmation windows, the imminent-window protection, the bulk-disappearance guard, oscillation detection — because they are written against what any iCal feed can do, not against one platform.

If you list on Vrbo and Airbnb

Connect both platforms' own feeds to the same property in Lemon rather than importing one into the other. Lemon de-duplicates a stay that appears on both feeds with identical dates and creates one job. Cross-imports between platforms add delay and are the usual cause of oscillating dates.
