What happens during a long stay
When a confirmed booking is longer than the interval, Lemon computes the mid-stay dates from the check-in. In automatic mode each date becomes a mid_stay job at the property's usual time and goes through the normal cascade. In suggestion mode the dashboard shows the dates with "Create" and "Remind me"; "Remind me" snoozes the suggestion rather than dismissing it, so a host who is waiting to confirm with the guest is nudged again later.
Mid-stay jobs carry the job type in the cleaner's message ("Type: Mid-stay cleaning"), so the cleaner knows the guest is in residence and the scope is lighter.
Long stays and the calendar rules
Long bookings intersect with two calendar rules worth knowing. A guest-nameless block longer than 30 nights on Booking.com is treated as an owner closure and skipped, because Booking.com's export cannot distinguish a long stay from you closing the property. A named stay longer than 90 nights is held for review rather than auto-confirmed. If you take genuine monthly stays on Booking.com, confirm them once on the dashboard, or connect a PMS so the reservation arrives as a fact.
Numbers
Mid-stay jobs are a small fraction of production volume — 6 of 533 jobs — which matches the average stay length of 4.8 nights (median 4) on Lemon's estate.
