The first fifteen minutes: paste one calendar link and see every clean Lemon would run

In short

Add one property with its checkout time, paste one iCal link, and Lemon lists every checkout it found and the clean it would run for each — dated and timed, before a single cleaner is invited. About fifteen minutes, no card, and nothing to undo if you walk away.

What you are actually agreeing to

Most software asks you to model your whole operation before it shows you anything: every property, every cleaner, rates, rotas, a card on file. That is a weekend, and you do not have one.

Lemon's first screen is one property. Give it a name, an address and its checkout time — the default is 11:00, change it if your guests leave at 10:00. Then paste one iCal export link from the Airbnb listing or the Booking.com property. That is the whole input. No cleaners yet, no checklists, no card.

The first fetch

Lemon reads the link straight away, and then every five minutes for as long as it is connected. Across production that cadence comes to about 4,016 fetches a day over 18 feeds: 129,351 feed fetches and 540,461 calendar events observed in the 30 days to 10 September 2026, covering 24 properties. Your feed joins the same cycle the moment you paste it.

What comes back is not a success message. It is a list. Every checkout Lemon found in that calendar, with the date, the time the clean would start at your property's checkout time, and the job it would create for it. Same-day turnovers are marked as such — a checkout and a check-in on the same date, scheduled to finish before the 15:00 check-in. Lemon's own calendars are carrying 32 of those pairs at the moment.

How long the list will be

In production the average stay is 4.8 nights and the median is 4. As arithmetic, not a promise: a well-booked property on a 4.8-night average produces roughly six checkouts in a 30-day month, so four properties come to about twenty-five. Your own list is whatever your calendar actually says. The point is that you can count it and check it against what you already know, in one coffee break.

Nothing has been sent to anyone

A job created on day one is not a job offered on day one. Lemon opens the offer window two weeks before checkout, so a clean three weeks out sits queued and silent. And until you add a cleaner and put them in a property's order, there is nobody to message.

So you can read the whole month, close the tab, and no one on your team knows you looked. There is also nothing to undo: you have not changed a listing, moved a booking, or announced a new system to anyone. An iCal link is read-only — Lemon reads your Airbnb and Booking.com calendars and cannot write to them.

Then one cleaner, one checkout

When the list looks right, the next cheapest test is one property and one cleaner. Invite the cleaner on the channel they already use — 15 of Lemon's 20 production cleaners chose Telegram, 3 WhatsApp — and they get the next checkout as a message with a link: property, address, date, time, accept or decline. Nothing to install, no account, no password. The offer stays open 60 minutes, then moves to the next cleaner if you have added one.

That is the part hosts expect to be hard, and it is the part production says is easiest: 360 of 392 offers accepted (92 per cent), median 37 minutes from offer to acceptance.

What day two looks like

The same list keeps itself straight without you. In the 30 days to 10 September 2026, Lemon's sync logged 1,445 booking decisions across those 18 feeds: 1,240 times it pinned the original check-in of an in-progress stay whose feed had dropped the elapsed nights; 78 times a stay reappeared under a new calendar ID and was re-linked by its checkout instead of being treated as a cancellation; 29 times a checkout genuinely moved, so the job was rescheduled and the assigned cleaner told; 67 times only the check-in moved and the job was correctly left alone. Ten bookings were cancelled automatically in the whole month.

None of that needs your attention. It is the reason the list you read in minute fifteen is still right in week six.

What it costs to find out

The trial is 30 days and takes no card. After that it is €18 a month for one property, €14 each for 2 to 20 — so the six-property co-host is at €84. If you walk away, you delete a property and a link.

Fifteen minutes, one calendar link, and you are looking at your own next month of cleans, correctly dated, with nobody told anything.
