A Booking.com guest extends by a night; the Airbnb calendar has not caught up; the cleaner is already on the way. Another apartment's checkout was in the feed yesterday and is not today — was it cancelled? The owner in Nicosia texts: "is Neapolis ready?" You do not know. You phone.

Technical details
Booking.com feeds re-key (change a booking's UID), trim and merge reservations constantly; the September 2026 report counts 78 silent re-keys across 18 feeds in 30 days. Every one of those is a job a naive tool cancels. Lemon re-links by checkout and never cancels inside 24 hours of a turnover on feed evidence alone.
